Steiff Hansel Teddy Bear Limited Edition

Steiff achieved wonders with their gorgeous Platinum Paper Teddy Bear from last year (006999), so it would only be a matter of time before the artisans crafted another, from unexpected and alternative materials. Welcome Hansel and his hemp coat.

Hansel is 38cm / 14" in size and is fully jointed. His tousled, mid-pile nutmeg hued coat has been created from a luxurious hemp plush, with his mottled brown paws being a product of the pineapple plant and it's residue fibres. In keeping with natural materials, he has lovingly been stuffed with wood shavings, whilst glossy black wooden eyes shine out from his emotive expression and kissable hand stitched features, reside happily upon his shaved muzzle. To finish, his adornment of an uncoated, pressed brass pendant will naturally change over time, developing a complementary patina.
